I’m a freelance graphic designer with over 10 years professional experience working independently for a broad range of clients ranging from individuals and small businesses through to large institutions and agencies in the corporate, cultural and educational sectors.
My work spans visual/brand identity, designing websites, creating custom fonts and logotypes, providing typographic consultation and designing every conceivable kind of printed matter, and increasingly, digital media. My approach is driven by my passion for good typography, combined with care and attention to detail and quality.
Illustration also plays an important role in many projects — be it an expressive illustration for a poster or magazine cover, the creation of infographics within context of a publication, or icons within the development of an identity.
I have found open dialogue with my clients to be key in the development of a successful project, to develop a solid understanding of their requirements, identifying the essence of the message and establishing the best visual means for it to be effectively delivered. My aim is to create well-crafted, considered and durable graphic design, founded on a good concept developed in consultation with the client.
Having lived and worked in Berlin for 9 years, I have recently relocated back to London where my studio is based. I’m also available to work in-house as part of a wider team, so if you have a project where you feel my skills could be well-suited, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.
